TRANSITIONING
 
Help on making the transistion from 12x12 & 7x7 to True 12x12 & 8x8 Change is never easy for most people, especially for those of us who really don't like change. But, DON’T PANIC! This transition will take place over a time period of 18 months (March 2008 - September 2009), giving you time to adjust to this change. You’re probably saying right now – “What about all those albums I’ve got that I haven’t completed, and what about all that perfect fit paper I haven’t used already?” As for the perfect paper, you can still use it in your current albums and even in the new albums. There will be ideas to help you with using the perfect fit paper on the new pages on www.creativememories.com. As for album projects that you are currently working on, you will want to take a tally of all of the album projects you are working on and all the unused albums you may have waiting for completion. You will definitely want to stock up on page refills and page protectors to complete these albums! Here’s a little formula I came up with to help you: 1.Count up how many 12x12 and 7x7 albums you have that you are either currently working on or you have in your closest waiting to get started on. Don’t forget any ongoing projects that are updated only once a year or so that you may have like school day albums, Christmas albums, vacation albums, albums that grandparents have, etc. Write down each album on a sheet of paper. 2.Then, decide how full you want this album to be at completion – just the pages that came with the album or to full capacity. A 12x12 album can hold 40 sheets, and a 7x7 album can hold 20 sheets. (One sheet has a page completed on both sides giving you a total of 80 pages in a 12x12 and 40 pages in a 7x7.) Beside each album written down on your paper, record how many sheets you currently have in that album (including both completed and blank). Then record the number of pages that you want the album to have at completion beside that album. Subtract the first number from the second number, and that’s how many refill pages you will need to order for that album. 12x12 and 7x7 refill pages will retire starting September 2009. 3.Then, determine how many page protectors you will need to complete the album. Take the total number of sheets you want in your completed album and subtract the number of page protectors you already have for that album, and that is how many page protectors you will need to order. ** 12x12 Page Refills and Page Protectors both come in packs of 15 sheets each. Total your number of pages and page protectors needed and divide each of the numbers by 15 to determine how many packs to buy. ** 7x7 Page Refills and Page Protectors both come in packs of 12 sheets each. Total your number of pages and page protectors needed and divide each of the numbers by 12 to determine how many packs to buy. 4.Order those coversets and specialty coversets you’ve been waiting to order. You may have pictures or pages you’ve been working on including things like Disney, baby, etc. Maybe you were planning on buying the Disney album when you got around to scrapbooking those pictures, or maybe you are working on those pages now and waiting to buy the coverset when they’re finished. NOW is the time to order because MOST current 12x12 and 7x7 albums and coversets are being retired beginning June 2008, and there are limited quantities. The remaining coversets will retire starting June 2009. 5.Order any Power Palettes, album kits, or other products that you have been thinking of using for an album project or you are currently using and may need more of. MOST current “consumable” products will be retiring at one point or another over June 2008 – Sept. 2009. CM Tools, adhesives, power sort boxes, vellum accents, pens, everyday displays, picfolio albums, and most of the totes will remain the same.

Your privacy is important to us. Creative Memories respects the privacy of every individual who visits one of its Web sites. In particular, the security of your personal information provided in relation to the services offered at mycmsite.com (the "Site"), is of great concern to Creative Memories. Creative Memories is committed to providing you with a secure environment for Consultant-Customer connection. When using the services provided on the Site you may be required to provide some personal information to help assist Creative Memories or a Creative Memories Consultant conduct business with you. Each Site is assigned to a specific Creative Memories Consultant, and is managed by that individual through a password protected account. As a customer, when you access a Site you are interacting with a Creative Memories Consultant, who is an independent consultant operating their own Creative Memories business.

Personal Information

Creative Memories only uses your personal information to assist in providing the services available to you at the Site you choose to access. Your personally identifiable information will not be rented, sold or shared with any third party, except as provided to third party intermediaries who help us run the Site. Your personal information is only provided to third parties, such as credit card authorization companies, technical advisors, vendors processing our outbound email communication, etc., for the purpose of providing you the Site services requested at the time you request them. Third parties do not store, retain, access or otherwise use your personal information other than to provide you with the requested Site services, and they are held to confidentiality agreements with Creative Memories.

This Privacy Policy applies to Creative Memories. Since the specific Site you access is managed by a Creative Memories Consultant, they may have access to your personal information in order to assist in providing requested services. Creative Memories Consultants are individually responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of your personal information. Creative Memories Consultants must only use a customer's personal information for conducting business with that customer and is not permitted to rent, sell or share this information. It is a violation of Creative Memories' Policies and Procedures to inappropriately disclose of personal information obtained from customers. Please contact your Creative Memories Consultant regarding their privacy practices.

Creative Memories may use non-identifying and aggregate information for the purpose of enhancing the mycmsite.com services and to share with business partners. For example, Creative Memories may tell a partner that X number of individuals visited a certain area on the site, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out a registration form, but Creative Memories would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Creative Memories reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at its sole discretion. If there is a need to change the Privacy Policy, we will email Creative Memories Consultants who own a mycmsite.com account and, where appropriate, post any changes for customer viewing announcing the new Privacy Policy. If applicable, Creative Memories will provide Site users with a way to opt out of any changes to the way their personal information will be used.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

Information Explicitly Provided

When you place an order at a Site you will need to provide personally identifiable information:
  • mailing address
  • billing name and address
  • credit card number and expiration date

Creative Memories only uses your credit card information to process your order and will not share this information with any third party, except as provided by necessity to third party intermediaries who are integral in processing your order.

If you wish to register for an event, you will need to provide your email address so your Creative Memories Consultant can keep you updated. Your Creative Memories Consultant will use your email address and other contact information you may provide to organize an event. If you wish not to be contacted by your Creative Memories Consultant the future, you must reply to a Consultant's correspondence indicating that you wish to opt out of future emails. Creative Memories Consultants are obligated to honor these requests.

Information Automatically Collected (electronic)

Cookies and Pixel Tags - Creative Memories uses cookies and pixel tags to track users of mycmsite.com. Cookies are pieces of information stored on a user's computer by a Web site so preferences are remembered on future requests. Pixel tags (also know as "Web Bugs," "Web Beacons," "Clear Gifs," "Invisible Gifs," and "Tracker Gifs") are signals sent from certain Web sites or emails used to pass certain information to our servers to personalize our Web sites and to track your usage. Creative Memories does not save password or credit card number information on cookies or through use of pixal tags. Creative Memories uses this information to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of the site and to help us make the site more useful to visitors.

Creative Memories is committed to the security of your personal information. Creative Memories uses industry best practices to protect the privacy of your personally identifiable information. When providing sensitive information, such as a password or credit card information, Creative Memories encrypts this information through SSL, an encryption and security technology.

Please note that if based on good faith belief that the law requires it, or to protect your or Creative Memories' rights or property, Creative Memories will disclose your personal information to the extent required.

When you supply your Creative Memories Consultant you email, they may send you promotions and other information regarding products and services. If you choose to opt out, you will be provided with a means to do so on each communication.
